We went to Point Mallard for the annual Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic the Sunday before Memorial Day. We've never been on a Sunday evening to see the hot air balloons. We went with the Jonathan, Kerry, Ava and Evan Hill this year (along with others that were there!). Balloons were beautiful along with good food and fireworks. We all had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year!

Last day of Kindergarten
Today was Luke's last day of Kindergarden. Bittersweet. We've had a good year....lots...I mean LOTS of sickness, but all in all a great year. It's amazing how much he has learned this year. I never would have thought he would be a reader by the end of the KG year. He's pretty good at it, too! So proud of Luke. He is such a sweet, tenderhearted and caring little boy. Pray he stays that way!

JES field day
Field Day at Johnson was May 16th. Luke had a BLAST....along with the rest of the school. We had a bit of bad luck the day before...Luke had strep throat. Yep...had to end the school year with something he hadn't had. So glad he got to go to field day, though!

We are now puppy owners....
Yes, I gave in! We got a puppy. A Miniature Schnauzer. Molly is her name. For those who know me well, I am a complete clean-a-holic. I can't help it. It's just who I am. Honestly, I have always been this way! So, it took a lot for me to give in a get a dog....an inside dog.
So....here's the story....Cynthia and Jamie have Alice, also a miniature Schnauzer. She is an awesome dog! Has very few accidents in the house and obeys very well. Well, our kids (and Cory and I) LOVE Alice...I mean love, love that dog. They ask for a dog all the time. AND....I grew up with an inside dog...Scooter. Many memories with that dog. I know, I know....she will have accidents and chew on things. Well, it's just time for me to let go (just a little!).
Prayers that everything is going to go well.....
Here are some cute picts of Molly...

287 eggs to be found....
We did our annual Easter egg hunt at mom and dad's yesterday (since last weekend was so YUK!). Yes, 287 eggs were hidden. In the end, I think we were only missing 8.

T-Ball opening day 2013
Well, another baseball season is here. Honestly, it's my favorite time of year! This year, Cory and I prayed for Luke to have a good, caring coach. We got it! Nick has been great with the boys so far this year. We have got a few good assistant coaches as well!! Hoping we will have a great season!
Go Braves!
Softball had opening day as well. Kinley came to see Luke....
...and so did Ava Hill!

Happy Easter!
So, usually when Easter is in the month of March, it's pretty cold. This year didn't disappoint! It was cold and rainy!! But, we all had a great Easter regardless! No eggs were hidden today, though.
Allie woke up wondering where all the toys were.....thinking Easter is like Christmas.
Got to admit...this is pretty funny.

Superman the fish dies....
One of Luke's gold fist died today. Well....he wasn't that tore up about it...AT ALL! But, we did have to bury it so it could go to heaven and be with Grandaddy and Mr. Will Haney. Sweet boy.
Allie's first salon experience
Allie's has a SMALL hair cut....ONE haircut in over 3 years. I took a lot for me to take her with me yesterday and let Ms. Julie cut her hair. After it was all done, I can honestly say she really needed it a long time ago!! Now it's all even and thicker. Lovely lovely Allie!
