allie is 4 months

i took allie to the dr. today for her 4 month (yes, i said 4 month) check up.  she is in the 90th percentile for head circumference and length and 75th percentile for her weight.  she weighs 14 lb. 14 oz. and is 25 1/2 inches long.  dr. denny thinks she is a very healthy little lady.....ya, think???

if you are wondering what this is........well.....major, major blowout, on the bouncy seat.  this is what allie does best (besides looking really, really cute).  she blows out ALL the time.  just had to get a picture of this one.  by the way, you should have seen her legs.....

as most of you know, our son is OBSESSED with superman.  he really doesn't watch the movie much anymore, but he "acts" like superman ALL the time...."flying" though the house, standing like superman, wearing superman clothes, etc., etc., etc.  ok, so the thing now is "can you make me a curl", you know, like superman hair.  yes, he goes into the bathroom, gets water on his fingers, and makes a superman "curl".  cute, hu??

soooo ready for spring!

we had an awesome weekend.  the weather was perfect.  needless to say, luke didn't nap all weekend.  he got to run out some energy.  we are so ready for spring.  here are some pictures of dawson, sydney and luke playing outside....

we celebrated syd's 6th birthday tuesday night with a littlest petshop cake and pinata.  we had a blast!  happy birthday sydney!  we love you!

this is just depressing...my oldest niece, brittany is now 17 years old.  i remember the day she was born!  happy birthday brittany!  you are beautiful!

luke's hives

things here at the mcelyea household have been a little hectic here lately.  luke has had hives since the week before Christmas.  after dr. visits, allergy testing, sinus x-rays, dr. denny decided to refer us to dr. theos, a pediatric dermatologist at children't hospital in birmingham.  she diagnosed luke with chronic urticaria (fancy for chronic hives).  so, he is now on 2 medications to help with the itching.  she also informed us that this could last up to a YEAR!!!  my goodness......

so, please keep luke in your prayers.  please pray for him to get well soon....and that this DOES NOT last a year!!!
