4 days and counting.......

yes, that's how many days luke has had on his superman pj's (well, with a couple of quick washes in the SINK). he doesn't want to take them off, AT ALL! we had to peel them off on Sunday for worship! let me tell you, i'll never think that a mother was crazy for letting her little girl wear her princess costume to wal-mart or the little boy with rainboots on with shorts in 90 degree weather!!!!!! these kids love their "outifts" and i think it's adorable!!!

he's not a vegetarian after all!!!

luke is a typical mashed potatos, veggies, mac and cheese kind of kid. we've had ALOT of trouble getting luke to eat meat....ANYKIND of meat; hamburger, hotdogs, turkey, you name it! well, i haven't given up. today, i fixed us a hotdog, and HOTDOG, he ate it! whew, we were worried!!! let's just see if he'll keep it up.

quote of the night.....

me: luke, do you want anymore french fries?
luke: no, i'm good!

oh, the things they say......

happy birthday, sydney!

sydney turned "5"on the 17th of february. her parents were a little late on the birthday...ha ha!she's growing up so fast! it seemes like yesterday that we were holding her as a newborn. we were late to her birthday party due to the circus; but we got there in enough time for cake and ice cream.
we love you sydney!!

the "greatest show on earth"!

we took luke to the circus yesterday. it was pretty good (can't compare to Cirque du Soliel....), but, for a two year old, it was ok. luke's favorite part was the clowns, which were pretty funny, and of corse, the elephants! as soon as he saw them, he said "roll tide, baby". i guess i can actually say cory and i are raising him right!!!!

this guy that trained the tigers scared us to death!!!

the classic elephant pose

the classic bicycle on a tight rope

this was really good...this was the National Anthem
