Alabama tornados April 27, 2011

I debated on writing about this or not.  The reason I decided to is so people (if any) that read my blog not from North Alabama could get a tiny glimpse of what all we have see the past few days.  On Wednesday, many tornadoes ripped through Alabama leaving, as of now, about 300 people dead.  Here in Limestone county, an F4...almost and F5 tornado came through my hometown of East Limestone leaving pure devastation.  I was in awe of what all I saw.  People's homes totally demolished.
Going East from Mooresville Rd down Hwy 72

Heading East on Chapshaw Rd. from Mooresville Rd.

Going East on Pepper Rd. from Jones Rd.

This is something that I think about every hour.  This is my hometown.  This was my way to school...now my way to and from work.  Trees that I have seen change with seasons....gone.  Homes that I have been in...gone.  Thankful to our dear Lord that nobody we know was killed.  Homes can be rebuilt, not people.  Please continue to pray for our community.
