guess what luke was for halloween.....SUPERMAN!! man, i bet you would have NEVER guessed that one! no, i didn't get to go trick-or-treating with luke this year....broke my heart! but, cory snapped some pictures of him going to a few houses!

SHE'S HERE!!!

we had the "surprise, honey, i think my water broke" on saturday, october 24th at 3:30 am. it was kinda fun to make the early morning calls to everyone that morning that i was in labor!!

allison "allie" ruth mcelyea was born saturday, october 24th 2009 at 10:24 am. 6 lb. 11 oz. 20 inches long. everyone is doing great!! she is BEAUTIFUL!!! we stayed at grammy and papaw's house for a week so i could "recover"!!

some of my "sweet" family helped give me and allie a baby shower last saturday and boy did we rack up! tons and tons for girl stuff. one good thing about this shower was....i actully got to go to this one!! cory had to attend my shower for luke since i was in the hospital. thanks to all that helped with this shower. i had a BLAST!

superman returns

yes, this has been our child since last tuesday. my parents bought him his superman costume for halloween and my mother made the mistake of letting his put it on as soon as it came in the mail. well, he LOVES it! the only time he doesn't wear it is when he's sleeping and eating. he even calls himself a "superhero" now. thank you grammy and papaw...luke loves his costume!this is superman beating up the bad guy!i think he's got the stance down pretty good, don't you?
