she's crawling!

as of sunday night, june 27th 2010, allie started crawling!  i took some pictures of her before i went to work this morning....

yes, she's getting into EVERYTHING!!!

helen keller festival 2010

we decided to go to the helen keller festival today in tuscumbia.  really fun...really HOT!  we enjoyed the arts and crafts and car show while the kids enjoyed the carnival "rides".  

here's allie....red cheeks and all.  she was a total trooper!  never whimpered a bit!

AND....on the way to eat, mama called and said her and daddy were stranded on the side of the road....daddy's car had overheated.  so, we got to hang out with them for 

a while until the tow truck arrived.

 when God gives you lemons, make lemonade.  we made the best out of the situation.....

no, our child isn't getting arrested in the next picture.....a nice police officer let luke sit in his car while we made room in our car for mom and dad. he enjoyed seeing all the "neat things" in the police car.

here's daddy's "baby" being towed into his garage.  we didn't see any tears!

yes, that's right....he now has superman sheets for his bed!  thanks grammy and papaw!  luke says they give him superpowers!

look who i found sitting up in her bed???  ummm....she was laying down and sat up ON HER OWN!  nope, not ready for this either!  she'll be crawling before we know it!

looks like we're going to have to lower her mattress...

my dad has decided to build a playhouse for the kids in our back yard....with the help of cory and jamie. can't wait for the final product!  by the way, the inside is going to be PINK!

we helped ian celebrate his 8th birthday at gary and kathy hargrove's last friday.  luke loved the pool!
